Grandma's Birthday!

We celebrated my grandma's birthday on Saturday. We had so much fun! We went to a park with a petting farm, then we walked on the beach for a bit, went to dinner, and then I went to bed and the grown-ups watched a movie. It was a good day!

Queen of the droolies

I told you I am the drooliest baby you'd ever meet. Poor Auntie Megan was my most recent victim. BTW, I had my one year old check up today. My doctor said I am a beautiful baby, very social, and cautious too (he's says that's a sign of intelligence). I am 21 lbs, 14 oz and 30 inches tall-both in the 75th percentile. I got 4 shots in my arms and I cried and cried. I haven't cried that badly for my other shots, so Mommy was surprised. Now that I'm older I have a wider range of emotions-that's why I cried so hard. But, I'm happy now because today is Daddy's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!! I love you! Thank you for being the best daddy ever!

Pigtails!

Happy 1st Birthday!!!!

It's my birthday! I'm a one year old! Mommy and Daddy can hardly believe it. We had a nice little family BBQ for me. I got some fun toys and cute clothes. My Grandpa even gave me my own website! I am so loved. :)

This is my super cool wagon from Grandma and Grandpa. I love it when Daddy straps me in and runs down the hill in our yard with me!

I LOVE CAKE!!!

The Yummy cakes Mommy made for me before they were demolished. The little one is my own personal cake and the big one is for the grow-ups.

Momma's Boots are Made for Walking

Mommy and Daddy are VERY proud of me because on June 2 I took my first steps!!! I wanted to get Momma's shoes and so I took a step towards them and got them. Then Daddy wanted Mommy to see me walk, so he enticed me with cake and I took two steps to get to it. He rewarded me with a nibble. Since then I take a few steps here and a few steps there, but I usually have to be bribed with something fun.
