Hey everyone! I'm now 9 months old. I'm not crawling yet, but I can get everywhere I want to go by rolling, so I don't see the attraction to crawling. I will admit, I sometimes crawl backwards and a few times I've crawled a few steps. But ever since I've mastered my lay-down-sit-back-up-twirl-lay-down-and repeat move, crawling doesn't seem to have much of a point. Mommy and daddy really need to get on the ball with the whole child proofing thing, because I'm always getting my hands on things only to have them tell me no and take it away. I now give kisses when asked and I just started waving "hi" and "bye". I can sign "all
done" when I'm done with my meals and when I see the sign for "cat," I try to find our kitty. Oh how I love my kitty. That may be one reason to crawl-so I can keep up with her and pet her. I eat everything that is put in front of me. Mommy still makes my baby food, but more and more I'm getting to feed myself little chunks of food. Last night daddy gave me some BBQ chicken for the first time. That was GOOD!!! My two bottom front teeth are in and one of my top teeth is coming in. Mommy has been a bit sore lately because I'm still learning that she's not a chew toy. I'm still a really happy little kiddo and I make a lot of other people really happy too.
My 1st Easter! I got all dressed up and went to church like usual, only mommy and daddy said that it was a special day because Jesus rose from the dead. I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds like Jesus is pretty special. Here daddy, aunt Megan, and I are hunting for eggs that grandpa and grandma hid.
Earlier this month I went to the zoo for the first time! I was in awe of all the different animals. Daddy and I are looking at mommy's favorites-the giraffs.
It's official! I have finally mastered the fine art of crawling. Mom and dad are finding out just how many things I can get into that I'm not supposed to. Hee hee!
